What is Night To Shine?

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love for people with special needs ages 14 and older. On one night, February 8, 2019, over 650 churches, from around the world, will host Night to Shine for thousands of honored guests!

Who is hosting Night To Shine?

Why are these two churches hosting one event?

both churches have a passion for missions and a call to serve the special needs community.

When should I register?

Register as soon as possible. Guest and Volunteer positions will fill quickly. 

When is Night To Shine?

night to shine is friday february 8th, from 6:00PM to 9:00 PM at TaxSlayer Center, Moline Illinois.

What time should I get there?

If you are a guest you should arrive at the taxslayer center at 5:30 PM. If you are volunteer you will be given an arrival time based on your assignment.

Will a meal be provided?

yes, there will be a meal provided.

What are the "Limo Rides"

Limo rides are short rides throughout the evening so that our guests can enjoy the experience of riding in a limousine.

Transportation to and from the evening is the responsibility of the guest or their caretaker.  If a guest needs a ride please contact the event coordinators

Each guest is assigned a "Buddy".  What is a "Buddy"?

A Buddy is an individual volunteer who is assigned to a guest.  their role is to guide the guest throughout the night to experience all the opportunities available and to have the best prom experience ever! 

Guests may bring their own Buddies, however we ask that all buddies register as a volunteer for the event. 

A buddy may accompany only one guest.

What will be available at the events?

The prom guests will be able to experience a red-carpet welcome with paparazzi, a corsage or boutonniere, a live DJ, a Tim Tebow gift bag, food and drink, hair and make-up stations, shoe shine stations, karaoke, limousine rides, lighted dance floor, photos, VIPS, and each guest will be crowned king or queen of the prom!

Will the event have security?

Yes, each event will have uniformed Police Officers and plain clothes security.

Will there be a medical team on site?

Yes, there will be a medic on site along with medical professionals stationed throughout the event.

What is the cost of the event?

The event is totally free.  The tim tebow foundation, the host churches, and numerous local companies and individuals are underwriting the entire event.

What if we need a prom dress or tuxedo?

prom dresses and tuxedos are not required, but we do ask you to dress accordingly. 

There will be dresses available at a dress giveaway (Dates to be determined).  Please stay tuned for more information!
